FEMISE Board of Directors

FEMISE is administrated by a Board of Directors composed of 23 Members at the most, 20 of whom are elected by the General Assembly.

Composition
The Board of Directors of FEMISE is composed of:

  • -the Founding Member by right, that is to say the “Economic Research Forum” – ERF,
    which holds a permanent seat (in compliance with article 5 of these Articles);
  • the President,
  • theTreasurer; and
  • twenty Members elected by the General Assembly for a renewable term of four years, with no limit on the number of mandates or duration, and chosen as follows:
    – Ten Members are appointed from among the Founding and Active Members based in the South- Mediterranean Region, representing each a different country of that region.
    – Ten Members are appointed from among the Founding and Active Members based in the North- Mediterranean Region, representing each a different country of that region.

The Board of Directors is renewed by half every 2 years.
