About the Webinar

Green Technologies play a critical role in advancing sustainable development, climate resilience, and economic competitiveness across the Southern Mediterranean. As countries in the region accelerate their green transition, innovation-driven ecosystems and strong value chains are becoming essential to scale solutions in areas such as renewable energy, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, water management, and clean mobility.

Clusters—bringing together businesses, research institutions, public authorities, and support organizations—are key engines of this transformation. By fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and market access, Green Tech clusters enhance innovation capacity, support SMEs and startups, and strengthen integration into regional and global value chains.

Across the South Mediterranean, Green Tech ecosystems are gaining momentum, supported by public policies, international cooperation, and private sector investment. Countries such as Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, and Lebanon are developing cluster-based approaches to address sustainability challenges while creating new economic opportunities.

Within the framework of the EuroMed Clusters Forward (ECF) project, this webinar will showcase how Green Tech clusters are driving innovation and competitiveness in the region, while highlighting the importance of Euro-Med cooperation in accelerating technology transfer, skills development, and sustainable impact.
