Context<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Euro-Mediterranean region is facing complex and interconnected challenges: climate vulnerability, economic instability, youth unemployment, digital divides, and migration pressures. In this context, strengthened dialogue between policymakers, researchers, and civil society becomes essential to address these shared challenges and seize common opportunities.<\/p>\n

About the Event<\/strong><\/p>\n

This high-level policy dialogue, \u201cShaping the Future: Towards a Strategic Roadmap for Deeper Euro-Mediterranean Integration\u201d<\/em>, provides a vital platform to present, debate, and enrich policy priorities for the region.<\/p>\n

The event builds on the FEMISE annual conferences of 2023 and 2024, organized in partnership with the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and with the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). These conferences have brought forward policy perspectives grounded in research and carried by a diversity of actors from academia, institutions, and international organizations.<\/p>\n

The 2025 edition represents a key step in consolidating these efforts. It aims to deepen strategic thinking on the future of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation while guiding the forthcoming research roadmap of the FEMISE network.<\/p>\n

Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n

This seminar pursues three main objectives:<\/p>\n

🔹 Consolidate Two Years of Regional Dialogue<\/strong>
Build on the results of the 2023 and 2024 FEMISE annual conferences to continue dialogue on emerging themes.<\/p>\n

🔹 Advance Towards a Euro-Mediterranean Policy Roadmap<\/strong>
Foster collective reflection on regional priorities and build a shared strategic vision to guide future cooperation with the EU.<\/p>\n

🔹 Define the FEMISE Research Agenda<\/strong>
Mobilize the FEMISE Scientific Committee and regional stakeholders to ensure that future research outputs are aligned with field needs and policy trends.<\/p>\n
