Member of FEMISE network<\/strong>\u00a0 German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS)<\/a> will hold a workshop on 26\u2013 28 August 2024 in Bonn, Germany<\/span><\/strong>, on \u201cSocial contracts and environmental change in the Middle East and North Africa and elsewhere”. The\u00a0workshop is meant to discuss the relations between environmental change and social contracts and their implications for future development and policy-making in the MENA region and beyond.<\/p>\n

IDOS invites researchers in any country and from any relevant discipline to submit scholarly written abstracts (300-500 words) of conceptual or empirical papers in the making (not yet published) to socioeconomic@idos-research.de before 15 March 2024<\/span><\/strong>. Abstracts should provide information on (i) the problem or research gap to be addressed, (ii) the research question, (iii) the main message, (iv) the methodology and (v) the expected findings. The authors of selected abstracts will be invited to send a short version of their papers (about 2000 words) by 15 June 2024. IDOS will take their final decision on acceptance by 30 June 2024.<\/p>\n
