Introduction<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Policy Briefs are essential communication tools that translate the findings and the recommendations of an academic research work into a simple and concise policy note that could be accessible by, not only the policy makers, but also the business community and the general public.<\/p>\n<p>The choice of the topic is left open to researchers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>II. Eligibility and Remuneration<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Call is open<b> to both members and non-members of FEMISE.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>The Brief could be a submitted by one or more authors.<\/li>\n<li>Authors must be residents in a country of the EU-Med region<\/li>\n<li>An honorarium of Euros 800 will be allocated for each selected brief.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>III. Theme and template of the Brief<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The Brief should conform to the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.femise.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/General-Guidelines-for-FEMISE-POLICY-BRIEF.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FEMISE General Guidelines for Policy Briefs\u201d<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li>The Brief should be about 4 pages maximum (around 2000 words)<\/li>\n<li>It should be done in simple and non-technical language and <u>should include operational policy recommendations that are based on a solid research.<\/u><\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0topic should be related to the EU-Med region<\/li>\n<li>It could include one or two figures\/tables for illustration and a short selection of a maximum of 5 references.<\/li>\n<li>It could refer to the research papers from which it may be issued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>IV.
