The 2016 edition will focus on all aspects of development economics, both macro and micro. FEMISE will participate as co-organisor of this event that will include a RoundTable on Economies of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recent decades have witnessed renewed interest in development economics with more and better data at both national and sub-national levels, expanding research agendas (reaching out to other domains that include e.g. political science, history, or epidemiology), and a broad array of approaches, some of which new to the field (e.g. experimental economics).
