The theme of this year was on “The Arab Awakening and the Role of the EU-Med Partnership”. The conference consists in three plenary sessions where keynote speakers from the North and the South addressed the theme of the conference and shared their views with the participants. The conference also included parallel sessions where members of the FEMISE network presented their recent research outputs in the areas of: sustainable development, migration, macroeconomic impacts of recent crisis, employment and well-being, etc…

The FEMISE annual Conference is considered a platform where researchers from the network, partners, officials from Euromed institutions, the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and distinguished keynote speakers meet to exchange their views on priority issues to the EU-Med region.
