FEMISE is happy to announce the organization of its second Workshop on “Firm Productivity, Trade and Development” in collaboration with its member institute DEFI, Université de la Méditerranée together with GDR Development and Transition (CNRS) and the Banque of France. The workshop will take place on the 8 and 9 July 2009 in Aix-en Provence, France (download the draft agenda).

The workshop will address the issues related to productivity measurements and the relation between openness and firm efficiency with the objective of better understanding the micro-economic adjustment mechanisms and the policy actions needed.
