New Member: JCSR, Jordan
The Jordan Center for Social Research (JCSR) has joined the FEMISE network as a new ACTIVE Member. The FEMISE Steering Committee accepted the center’s request of membership following a voting process.
The JCSR is established in 1998 in Amman, Jordan and its main objective is ‘providing distinguished research and foster public debate on local and regional important issues on various aspects including that of social, political and economic.’ The center is presented by its Director, Dr. Musa Shtiewi, who is a researcher, specialized in Social issues and a professor at the University of Jordan.
FEMISE network is now composed of 77 institutes: where 36 representing the 10 Mediterranean Partners and 41 representing the 25 European Union.
